Ninilchik to Seward Ptarmigan Creek Natinal Forrest Camp 8-18-12 to 8-19-12

When Bill went down to use a latrine in the morning before we left the Ninilchik camp he saw a huge mother moose and two huge calves following her, ran back to get the camera and this is all he got, he saw them barely in a small clearing in the bushes moving on.

Then he saw, bear or big dog you decide, Bill didn't get any closer.

This lake is huge it stretches across the Kenia peninsula.

Down the road to Seward, you can see our shooting Trekstar in the windshield if you haven't noticed it before.

Sockeye Salmon coming up Ptarmigan Creek, time to hit the sack another long day.
Aug. 18, 19, 2012 We traveled to and settled into a National Forest Camp, Ptarmigan Creek near Seward. More beautiful scenery although it rained almost the whole time. We saw a lot of natural wild life and in the Alaska Sea Life Center, it was great. Bill saw a moose mother and calves before we left Ninilchik, but didn't have the camera I missed them because I was in my night gown, oh well next time. Another nice camp in the mountains, quite, peaceful and serine. It had a stream that the sockeye were coming up to spawn.
