Good Night
Aug. 17, 2012 Another full day of travel from Tenderfoot Creek Camp over the mountains to Soldatna then onto Ninilchik and Homer to see the sights and have a special diner. Over the mountains to Soldatna first to get loaded up on groceries and on to Homer to catch some beautiful views and great meal. We saw many mountain lakes and rivers. Suppose to be the best fishing in the world. On the way back to camp at the end of the day we saw a gorgeous sunset over two active volcanoes 50 miles across the bay. And ran by an Alaska State Fair. They have many state fairs, more like regional ones, or county fairs. In case you were wondering, there is a Tsunami evacuation route from Homer Spit, it got hit in the 1964 earthquake.
