Aug. 06, 2012 Long day moving through the valleys and mountains of BC. A lot of wild life along the road today. Caribou, Bison, Wild Horses and the usual Bald Eagles and hawks. We ended up in a peaceful camp to night they lost there power plant but said it should be going by spring time. I wonder if DTE customers would be that patient. Went to the Watson Lake forest of signs. It was started by a soldier building the road, he put up a sign saying so many miles to his home well tradition carries on some sixty thousand signs and license plates from people all over the world.

Here we go winding through BC.
Back over the mountains.

Aug. 05, 2012 Now we are winding through British Columbia. Interesting day back through the mountains, great views, beautiful lakes and lots of wild life. Stone sheep with young, black bear and cubs, buffalo and herd with young. At the end of the day we stooped at Liard Hot Springs National Provincial Park to spend the night. We we got to the gate the women said they had spaces open and yes there were a hot springs to bath in. But she said it was a crime scene and we couldn't go in until they finished the forensics. Bill ask the women if we should leave and she said it was up to us but they would be done and then we could go to the hot springs. Bill's back was still killing him and wanted to go in. She could not tell us what happen but we could stay. And we did, a nice quiet night, peaceful, fresh air and hot sulfur bath to boot (was it murder). The next day at a gas station the guy told us two drunken men had a brawl and both used knives on each other but they had them in jail. We did see blood on the boardwalk. What else could happen?
