Aug. 09, 2012 Well here we are we made it to Alaska finally. After a dull day yesterday, White Horse to Dawson City Yukon, this was a grueling run. One hundred miles of dirt road across the tops of mountains. Narrow roads straight down drop offs thousands of feet. But words can't describe the views, definitely gods country. Only 70 more miles tomorrow and its back to the Alaskan Highway and on to Fairbanks. We'll see if we beat the convoy. Hanging out the window to get a WiFi signal and its suppose to be down to 30F to night so I'm freezing, good night. Oh Chicken is named so because they couldn't spell Ptarmigan, its a Alaskan Prairie Chicken.
